Short trip to Pune

Hey guys, while I was off the net, I got the chance to put together a short trip to Pune, It was more so thanks to Swarupa aunty, who was down from the states...
So off we went driving, with the Innova, and what a Drive it was...
The road upto Ambolim was good, than onwards for about 40km the road was horrible, littered with some seriously deep pot holes. But once we touched Nipani, It was the coolest drive i have had yet, amazing 4 and 6 lane highway, almost all the way to Pune, Sadly some trafic was always travelling in the opposite direction that too in the fast lane.
Had a great time in Pune catching up with the aunts and shopping.
The way back was even better with the day time travelling, was managing 140kmph continuously for streaches of 10 to 15 min.
Another thing you guys should try out.

Actualy this was some time ago, The official transport and I had some time to kill and nothing to do so off we went to Quepem to follow the Selaulim Canal out there, and man, did it turn out to be a great outing.
We had a brilliant time right thru the senic drive, it was all photography country....
And than there were these little kids having a good time diving into the canal, served to give us some great snaps, they were kind enough to have a little extra good time so we could get some snaps. Looked like so much fun that we were ready to jump in ourselves.
You guys really have got to try it out....

wish you guys a very happy "Guddi Padwa"

Hey guys,
Here comes another remiender of another year passing by, man time flies so fast, not that I am complaining, but so much is still to be done.
Wish you guys a "Very Happy Hindu New Year" or "Guddi Padwa" as we ike to call it here in Goa.
Its said to be a great time to start something new, and every one is off trying to get a great start to what they like to do, The Blogs official Mascot, went out and got himself a new TV that is going to be the envy of all his neighbours, the Blog official transporter ditched us and put all our plans for to day under water, hope its not the trend set for the year......( ;-> hope it gets the message across) .
As for me i got down to stock trading, yep, my first foray, however please dont ask me about how much i lost, am quiet good at messing up things like that.
That apart guys do check out The transporters official blog, its verry well done, its at "http://sacworks.blogspot.com".

shigmo floats

hey guys.... long time no hear...

hey guys, its been a while since i have blogged, but it great to be back. Actually not been up to much, so the silence, followed by a lot of computer problems and topped up with internet connectivity problems.... ok, enough problems for now. Its down to action.
While I was off line, we had the Shigmo Utsav parade all over Goa, in Margao on Sunday last, that is the 26th. Was superb... The romtamol ( traditional dances) and the quality of the floats was beyond anything I have seen before. Sadly, getting all of it on virtual tape was not such a easy thing, with the parade heading into the evening and darkness, the floats moving continuously etc. however all i managed is here for you to see. Hope you enjoy it....
That apart, we also got through the Holi celebration during the down time. And what a celebration we had.... First at Sachins...where we were joined by Shinde and co., however Parag seemed to have got the worst of it, Than at Kakode and co... where again Parag got the worst of it, followed by Kakode and me. and finally at Shilpas with Rashmi, shilpa and Urvija, What a time we had... Parag and Sachin could actually not stop giggling...... (wonder why) . And though Rashmi joined us to have a blast, Mahesh was deeply missed. Hope to get together with you guys shortly... Sadly got no snaps of all that as the camera was tucked away safely from the colours and water.
